TANNER RICE
HEAD INSTRUCTOR
Tanner Rice is the head instructor and founder of the Rice Brothers Jiu Jitsu Academy. Tanner started training in the gentle art at the age of 6 and after winning worlds at brown belt was awarded his black belt at the age of 19!
Tanner continues to evolve both as a teacher and competitor, when not training Tanner enjoys spending time with his family!

SAM RICE
ASSOCIATE INSTRUCTOR
Sam started training at an early age and in November 2016 was the first black belt awarded by Tanner Rice. He has a submission oriented style that has translated to a lot of success in competition. He also loves to hunt and fish on the weekends.

MATTHEW RICE
ASSOCIATE INSTRUCTOR
Matthew Rice is a black belt under his brother Tanner Rice. He won worlds as a juvenile blue belt and had a very successful run at every belt level being awarded the rank of black belt by Tanner in 2019 . He leads the fundamentals class at the academy and loves to teach!
